ERNEST SHACKLETON LOVES ME is a wildly inventive musical adventure that tells the story of a sleep-deprived single mom who struggles to balance her family and career as a video game music composer. There is no award for the best score, however, so this cast album had to be approached with no award bias.
I am quite familiar with Shackleton’s life and the authors have hit all the important events, working them into a celebration of love and adventure with a surrealistic bent that is captivating and enthralling. Theatre includes: Gazer in The Cagebirds (New Wimbledon Theatre Studio); Lead soloist for Aida Cruises; Marty in Gary Lloyd’s Grease; originated the role of Amelia in The Clockmaker’s Daughter (Landor Theatre/St James Theatre Studio); The Mikado (Charing Cross Theatre); West End Men (Vaudeville Theatre); Ariel in Footloose (Italian Tour); Jack in Jack and The Beanstalk (The Belgrade Theatre); Mabel in Pirates of Penzance (Electric Theatre) and Olivier Awards Choir 2011(Theatre Royal).
